Our wood turned pens have been individually hand crafted in house and by far is the prided product within the calligraphy pen range. Each pen goes through the lengthy process of being cut to size and prepared for the carving. Once preliminary work is done, our pen smith then shapes the pen to its specific proportions. The pen then receives refining of its surfaces with varying densities, leaving the pens with the smoothest finish possible.
Each pen is constructed with a 4mm wide barrel suitable for the tail end of the nib to be inserted supported by a metal ring around it reinforcing the tips thus reducing the amount of play on the nib itself.
